Application Process
•Apply to Stetson University via Common App or school website
•Select Music (BA) as your major on the application
•After applying, contact Music Admissions to register for an audition at least seven days before your requested date
Audition Format
•Florida residents are required to audition in person on campus in DeLand, FL
•Out-of-state students may audition in person or request a virtual audition
•Virtual auditions: email Music Admissions, then submit recorded video links via the Hatter Portal Virtual Music Form (YouTube Unlisted preferred)
•Early Decision applicants submit video auditions via the Hatter Portal by November 8 and schedule a November faculty meeting
Admission Timeline
•School of Music decision sent the week following your audition date
•Talent scholarship amount included in your financial aid package
•May 1 is National Decision Day to commit
Degree Structure
•A liberal arts degree offered jointly by the College of Arts & Sciences and the School of Music
•About half the coursework is in music and half in Arts & Sciences or Business
