•Structured around developing students' individual creative process, critical-thinking judgment, and long-term creative-practice skills as groundwork for continued study in digital art and media
•Offered within SPC's Fine Arts/Kinesiology department and Creative & Communication Arts institute, alongside the college's Art, Drama, and Music pre-majors
Degree Flexibility
•Courses completed in the Digital Arts and Media pre-major transfer to universities and schools of art throughout Texas and the U.S. toward a bachelor's degree
•Digital Arts and Media is a Pre-Major/Transfer subject declaration rather than a stand-alone credential — students use it for advising purposes while completing SPC's associate-level coursework
