Entrance (Post-Enrollment)
•Bullet: Audition on your principal instrument to enter the music major as a BA general music major
•Bullet: Apply to the BM Music Education — Instrumental (K-12) program in the sophomore year (spring), with a separate Education Department application
•Bullet: Complete application (due October 15 and March 15)
•Bullet: Full academic review and a recital performance on the principal instrument
•Bullet: Interview and planning session with the music education faculty
Continuance
•Bullet: Reviewed for continuance generally in the junior year (second semester); students not approved are no longer in the Teacher Education Program
