•Students complete any two courses from the first two levels of introductory mariachi performance and Mariachi Garibaldi
•The learning outcomes cover traditional mariachi singing and playing, including son jalisciense, huapango, ranchera, bolero, son jarocho, and joropo
Professional Development
•The certificate serves developing mariachi musicians and music instructors seeking the tradition-specific history and performance knowledge used to teach mariachi in public schools
