Audition Format
•Audition includes a prepared selection, scales or percussion rudiments, sight reading, basic ear training, and a faculty interview
•Requirements differ by area: woodwinds, brass, and strings use prepared repertoire plus major scales; percussion uses snare and/or mallet selections plus rudiments
Scheduling
•Contact the Music Program to schedule an audition
•In-person scholarship audition dates are available in fall and spring
•Alternate audition dates and video recorded auditions are available upon request
Dual Purpose
•The audition serves for both program admission and scholarship consideration
