Keyboard Repertoire List
•Piano applicants: play two prepared pieces, preferably by memory, selected from two listed categories
•Piano repertoire categories include Bach representative works, classical sonata movements, Romantic-era works, 20th-century works, or any prepared piece
•Piano repertoire sight-reading is required
•Organ applicants: play two prepared pieces chosen from two categories: a representative work, a hymn/hymn arrangement, or any prepared piece
•Organ repertoire does not need to be memorized
Instrumental Repertoire List
•Woodwind, brass, and string applicants: prepare two works or excerpts of Grade 4-6 difficulty
•Choose repertoire that shows both lyrical and technical playing; selections do not need to be memorized
•Woodwind, brass, and string repertoire auditions include scales and sight-reading
•Percussion repertoire should include one work or excerpt for snare drum, timpani, and keyboard percussion (mallets)
•Percussion repertoire auditions include keyboard-percussion scales and sight-reading on any listed percussion instrument
•Prepared drum set repertoire may be included by applicants with interest and background
