•18-credit minor requires Introduction to Music Technology, Electronic Music, Producing Music for Visual Media, and Advanced Audio Recording, Editing, and Sound Manipulation
•Two additional elective credits pair music technology with the Communication, Media, and Screen Studies department through courses such as Experimental Media Production, Advanced Audio Production and Sound, Music & Sound in Media, or Introduction to Musical Improvisation
Facilities
•Coursework runs through the Music Department's recording and electronic computer labs for hands-on production, mixing and editing work, taught by applied-lesson faculty who work as recording engineers and studio producers, such as William Ahearn
