Training
•The 18-credit minor combines foundational study of communication with public speaking and a choice of human or visual communication.
•Required coursework includes CMS 101 Public Speaking and CMS 110 World of Communication; students then choose CMS 115 Human Communication or CMS 145 Visual Communication.
Degree Flexibility
•Three additional CMS courses complete the minor, with at least one at the 300 level or above, providing room to pursue advanced communication coursework beyond the introductory core.
