•One ballad and one up-tempo selection

•One song must be written prior to 1970 (student's choice which)

•Sight singing exercise included as part of audition

Dance

Theater and Dance Audition Component

•In-person: 60-minute dance class with faculty

•Video option: 30-second dance clip (previous performance footage accepted)

•Audition by late February to be considered for music scholarships

•Applications and auditions accepted after February, but music scholarship funding may be limited

Theater and Dance Audition

•Separate audition with the Department of Theater and Dance is also part of the process

•In-person: 1-minute monologue, 32-bar cut of a musical theatre song (bring accompaniment track), 60-minute dance class, brief interview with faculty

•Video option: 1-minute monologue, 32-bar cut of a musical theatre song (with track), 30-second dance clip
