Scales & Technique
•Demonstrate current scale and chord knowledge
•Ear evaluation through call and response
•Demonstrate current sight-reading ability
•Bass, piano, and guitar players demonstrate accompanying techniques (comping chord changes, walking bass lines)
•Drummers demonstrate swing, latin-samba, bossa nova, and ballad feels, and should bring their own cymbals
