Scales & Technique

2-octave movable major and minor scales, no open notes, through 4 sharps and 4 flats

2-octave major and minor arpeggios through 4 sharps and 4 flats

Repertoire

Choose 2 of the following 3 repertoire options

Classical piece on electric bass, such as a selection from J. S. Bach for Electric Bass by Josquin des Pres

Jazz standard melody, bass line, and solo, improvised or composed

Contemporary rock or funk repertoire selection demonstrating technical control of the bass
