Training
•The 2026-2027 BA Art Theatre Design curriculum begins with visual-art foundations, drawing, and design courses alongside Introduction to the Theatre.
•The sequence then adds Stagecraft, Design for Stage and Studio, acting, theatre history, and either Makeup Design or Costume Design for Stage and Studio.
Performance & Productions
•Students take Play Production in the fourth year and complete ART 4220 Senior Projects in Visual Art + Design before the culminating ART 4990 Thesis Exhibition.
•The catalog requires all degree candidates to present an approved body of artwork in the Graduating Seniors’ Exhibition.
Facilities
•Southeastern identifies its Visual Art + Design computer lab as one of the state’s largest and best equipped, alongside dedicated costume and scene shops in Anzalone Hall.
