Audition Requirements

Songs

TWO CONTRASTING ART SONGS (not Musical Theatre)

Songs must be performed from memory
May be in English or a foreign language
Should come from standard classical vocal repertoire appropriate for solo/ensemble contests or NATS auditions
Sacred art song settings of hymns are acceptable
Hymns or gospel songs sung a cappella are NOT acceptable audition material
An accompanist is provided — no pre-recorded accompaniments or self-accompaniment accepted

SCHOLARSHIP CONSIDERATION

For priority scholarship consideration, auditions should be completed by April 4, 2026
