•Bullet: Fundamentals of Technical Theatre I and II cover scenery, lights, costuming, wigs, make-up, and properties, and prepare students for Essential Skills in Entertainment Technician exams
Professional Development
•Bullet: Graduates pursue careers as actors, performers, theatre technicians, teachers, directors, and youth theatre leaders
•Bullet: Students attend the Southeastern Theatre Conference and Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival
•Bullet: Senior Capstone adds professional theatre business practices and a research project adjudicated by the full-time theatre faculty
Degree Flexibility
•Bullet: The core requires one acting course (Stage Movement, Voice for Actors, or Acting II) and one design course (Scene, Lighting, or Costume Design)
•Bullet: A 22-hour minor is required
