Optional audition for scholarship consideration - not required for program admission.

Monologues

TWO CONTRASTING ONE-MINUTE MONOLOGUES

•Two contrasting monologues (one minute each maximum)

•You may also perform a 32-bar song or one-minute cut from a musical (optional)

•Total audition time should not exceed 3 minutes

Additional Materials

Headshot & resume (recommended)

•Headshot and resume of performance experience requested but not required

•Portfolio of work also accepted for technical scholarship applicants

What's The Process

Scholarship Audition Format

•Two types of scholarships: Performance and Technical/Design

•Performance: two contrasting monologues plus optional 32-bar song

•Technical/Design: portfolio and/or resume plus interview

•You must be admitted to Snow College before receiving a scholarship award

•Must be a theatre major to receive the scholarship

In-Person Audition

•Date: March 21, 2026

•Time: 9:00am - 12:00pm

•Location: Haslam Blackbox Theatre, Eccles Center, Snow College

Video Submission

•Accepted if unable to attend in person

•Upload to YouTube or similar platform and provide the link

•Video submissions due by March 1, 2026 by midnight

After Auditions

•Tour of performance facilities, meet faculty, and informal Q&A session

•Notification by end of school year whether scholarship will be awarded
