Scholarship Audition Format
•Audition is for scholarship consideration only (not required for AS admission)
•Auditions held at Snow College Eccles Center for the Performing Arts
•300 East Center Street, Ephraim, Utah
•Out-of-state or international students may arrange video auditions
Audition by Instrument
•Vocal: two contrasting pieces (5-7 minutes)
•Wind/Brass: one prepared piece plus scales
•Strings: two contrasting solos or solo and etude
•Percussion: one prepared solo on instrument of choice
•Piano: two pieces in contrasting styles, performed from memory (15 minutes)
•Guitar: two contrasting pieces, demonstrate comping and soloing
•Jazz: one prepared piece demonstrating reading and improvisation
Scheduling
•Fill out the audition form on the music department website
•Faculty will contact you to confirm exact day and time
