MUS. 105 and MUS. 111 require MUS. 100 (Fundamentals of Music) or successful Prerequisite Challenge Quiz

Students with existing music reading skills may bypass MUS. 100 by contacting Music Professor Jude Navari (navarij@smccd.edu)

MUS. 501 (Applied Music) requires co-enrollment in a Performing Ensemble course

MUS. 105 and MUS. 111 are offered in the Fall semester only

No more than 60 units required after transfer for a bachelor's degree

MUS. 501 (Applied Music I) requires an audition demonstrating college-level performance skills

Perform a major scale on your instrument or voice and one solo piece

If not arranged with the instructor before class, held at the first class meeting
