Training
•Bullet: The Theatre Arts Minor is an 18-unit program: a 9-unit core built around Dramaturgy and Dramatic Criticism plus a beginning acting or design course and a rehearsal, practice, or production-workshop course, followed by 9 units of electives, at least 6 of which are upper-division
•Bullet: Electives span acting, playwriting, directing, and design/technology, including courses such as TA 17 Intermediate Acting, TA 116 Introduction to Stage Directing, and TA 151 Lighting Design for Performing Arts
Performance & Productions
•Bullet: Minor students connect classroom study with SJSU's workshops, productions, and collaborative performance culture in the Department of Film and Theatre
•Bullet: At least 6 of the minor's units must be completed in residence at SJSU, per University Policy S16-4
