•Bullet: Students build a demonstrated professional portfolio while working alongside SCA's Dance, Film, Theatre & Performance, Music & Sound, Visual Art, and APCS peers on their productions
Performance & Productions
•Bullet: Students designed and executed the visuals for Sergei Prokofiev's Romeo and Juliet, a music-visual collaboration between the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra and SFU's Precursor Lab performed at the Orpheum Theatre and streamed live (Nov. 19, 2021)
•Bullet: Student scenic and lighting work has been staged in SCA MainStage productions including 1690 Matthews and Ghost Forest at the Fei and Milton Wong Experimental Theatre
Professional Development
•Bullet: The program builds real-world experience through internships and apprenticeships, preparing graduates for roles spanning theatre, dance, live music, opera, corporate events, film, and immersive/installation design
Facilities
•Bullet: Visual-mapping projects by students are exhibited on the projector array in the lobby of the SFU Goldcorp Centre for the Arts, alongside access to the school's production studios and performance spaces
