•Flexible liberal arts degree with music as the major area of study
•Students design an elective emphasis around their interests with a faculty advisor
•Fewer required units in lessons, ensemble, theory, and pedagogy than the BM, with a larger music elective requirement
Pathways
•Broad preparation for careers in music or music-related fields and for graduate study
•Capstone completed through MUS 598 Senior Thesis with a thesis advisor
•Students may change to the BM by completing a successful audition
