Training
•Performance Track culminates in MUSC 370 Recital
•Students complete 11 hours of applied music, including 8 hours in the same performance area
•Applied instruction is normally offered in piano, organ, carillon, voice, strings, winds, brass, percussion, drum kit, and guitar
Performance & Productions
•Students complete large ensemble, chamber ensemble, or combined ensemble credits as part of the track
•Ensembles include University Choir, University Orchestra, Jazz Ensemble, Gospel Choir, and chamber ensembles
Facilities
•Guerry Hall recording studio supports student recording, engineering, and original music projects
•Ralston Listening Library offers a large record collection and high-quality listening resources
Degree Flexibility
•Sewanee Pledge includes a funded summer internship or research fellowship for every student
