•Bullet: Seton Hill’s postbaccalaureate Music Therapy certificate is designed for students who already hold a bachelor’s degree in music and need the clinical preparation required for music-therapy practice.
•Bullet: The 30-credit curriculum covers clinical keyboard and guitar, music-therapy techniques, psychology of music and research methods, counseling and multiple clinical populations.
Professional Development
•Bullet: Clinical Practicum and a Music Therapy Internship are required, and students demonstrate competency in piano, voice and guitar while meeting American Music Therapy Association competencies.
Degree Flexibility
•Bullet: Prior music coursework is reviewed individually so students can remedy any remaining deficiencies.
