•Bullet: Guitar is the primary applied area alongside clinical keyboard, guitar and voice competencies in Seton Hill’s 106-credit Music Therapy BM.
•Bullet: Six practica lead to internship preparation and a required six-month internship; students work with clients through treatment planning, evaluation and follow-up under clinical supervision.
•Bullet: Guitarists study with named faculty member Raymond Myers and have a dedicated Guitar Ensemble among the department’s specialized groups.
•Bullet: The guitarist pathway can also connect to the Commercial Music Ensemble for amplified and contemporary ensemble work.
Professional Development
•Bullet: Completion of the degree and internship supports eligibility for the national board-certification examination.
