Three Selections, 2-12 Minutes Each
•Bullet: Selections should represent the fullest sense of who you are as a musician
•Bullet: Materials may be drawn from any of the following:
◦Sub-bullet: Pieces demonstrating primary instrument or voice in classical, jazz, contemporary, or world music
◦Sub-bullet: Solo, with accompaniment, or featuring you in an ensemble
◦Sub-bullet: Improvisation in any style over an existing form/tune or "free"
◦Sub-bullet: Original compositions in any genre with accompanying scores if applicable
◦Sub-bullet: Multimedia works or collaborations
Recorded Audition Requirements
•Bullet: In-person auditions strongly encouraged
•Bullet: Performers/singer-songwriters: at least two selections must be recordings of a live performance (not a produced/mixed track)
•Bullet: Composers: at least one selection must be a live performance recording
•Bullet: Introduce yourself and state name/composer of each piece before performing
File Guidelines
•Bullet: Compress files to be smaller than 4GB
•Bullet: Separate selections into individual tracks (not one large file)
•Bullet: Naming convention: lastname_title
