•Shared dance training explores contemporary, ballet, jazz, Africanist, global and somatic movement traditions, with choreography and improvisation alongside historical and cultural study.
Performance & Productions
•Creative work includes solo and collaborative choreography, with performance explored in theaters, digital media and site-specific settings.
Degree Flexibility
•Designed to combine sustained dance study with a liberal arts education and room for another major or minors.
•Published degree combinations include Psychology, Kinesiology, Philosophy, and Anthropology and Sociology. Students can plan a BA combination around both artistic and academic interests.
