•MTCP Song Option B:
-One musical theater song from any time period
-One contrasting song of your choice (any style)
-60-90 seconds each
Monologues
•MTCP Monologue Option A:
-One monologue from a published play or professional writer
-60-90 seconds
Dance
•MTCP Dance Option C:
-Dance video not required
Ballet
•MTCP Ballet Option C:
-Ballet not required

APPLICATION PROCESS
•Two-step: Cal State Apply + Acceptd video submission
•Select Pre-Major as "Musical Theatre (662509)" on Cal State Apply
•Cal State Apply filing fee: $70 (non-refundable)
DUAL APPLICATION OPTION
•Can apply for BOTH BA Musical Theatre and BA Theatre Arts (Performance) via Acceptd Option #3
•Additional monologue requirements apply for dual application
ELIGIBILITY
•Fall enrollment only
•Students denied admission cannot reapply until the following academic year
What's The Process
VIDEO AUDITION
•Video-only audition — no live auditions offered at SDSU
•Acceptd application takes the place of a live audition
•Submit via Acceptd between October 1 – December 30
•Select "OPTION #2: BA Musical Theatre Only" on Acceptd
TIMELINE
•December 1 — Cal State Apply deadline
•December 30 — Acceptd audition deadline
•Mid-February — faculty recommendations to admissions
•Mid-March — admissions notifications
•May 1 — enrollment deadline

DEPARTMENT SCHOLARSHIPS
•Multiple named scholarships available through SDSU School of Theatre, Television, and Film
•Sybil E. Jones Memorial Scholarship — for students with proven dramatic ability in SDSU productions
•Marion Ross Scholarship — for undergraduate students pursuing an acting career
•Mack Owen Scholarship — for undergraduate students pursuing an acting career
•Applications announced early each spring semester
FEE ASSISTANCE
•Limited scholarship assistance available to help with $35 Acceptd application fee
