ACTING AUDITION FORMAT (OPTIONAL)
•4-minute taped audition submitted via SlideRoom
•Options: two contrasting monologues, monologue + vocal performance, or monologue + dance performance
•PERFORMANCE RESUME required with audition
•HEADSHOT optional
•Reviewed on: voice production, movement, musicality, physical commitment, energy, relaxation, characterization, memorization, character portrayal
•In-person audition accepted in lieu of portfolio submission
NAMED SCHOLARSHIPS
•SCAD Honors Scholarship — requires outstanding portfolio/audition, 3.5+ GPA, and above-average test scores
•Distinguished Scholars — requires educator nomination and exceptional portfolio
•SCAD Challenge — annual creative competition with scholarship prizes
