Portfolio Scholarships
•Portfolios and auditions are not required for admission but are highly encouraged for additional scholarship consideration
•Submit an achievement profile plus portfolio or audition via SlideRoom ($10 submission fee)
•Achievement profile may include honors, awards, leadership, community service, and other recognitions
•In-person SCAD audition may be accepted in lieu of a performing-arts portfolio submission
Acting Audition Format (Optional)
•4-minute taped audition submitted via SlideRoom
•Options: two contrasting monologues, monologue + vocal performance, or monologue + dance performance
•PERFORMANCE RESUME required with audition
•HEADSHOT optional
•Reviewed on: voice production, movement, musicality, physical commitment, energy, relaxation, characterization, memorization, and character portrayal

•SCAD Achievement Scholarships: overall achievement
•Distinguished Scholars and Transfer Scholars require educator/counselor nomination plus an exceptional portfolio and achievement record
•SCAD Challenge offers scholarship opportunities for current-year high school juniors and seniors
