•Bullet: Certificate of Achievement building strumming and fingerstyle guitar technique across popular and fingerstyle repertoire, plus collaborative ensemble performance
•Bullet: 12-unit sequence: two semesters of Combo and Chamber Ensemble (Music 49, 2 units each) plus four Guitar Classes chosen from Popular Guitar (Music 84A/84B/84C) and Fingerstyle Guitar (Music 87A/87B), totaling 8 units
•Bullet: Up to 4 units of alternate applied instrumental coursework may substitute if guitar sections are full
•Bullet: Program outcomes include strumming and fingerstyle performance across styles, technical instrument knowledge, repertoire familiarity, and collaborative performance skills
Facilities
•Bullet: Guitar instruction and ensemble work are based in the Performing Arts Center, home to the Music Hall and the Eli and Edythe Broad Stage, with student practice rooms available
