Liberal arts approach to theatre as a means to inspire humanity and engage a diverse society
Focus on classical and contemporary theatrical storytelling in the context of cultural diversity
Emphasis on playmaking, empathy, critical analysis, creative problem-solving, and changemaking
Curriculum covers acting, design, script analysis, and technical theatre (44-46 units for major)

Performance & Productions
Students of all majors can audition for department productions

Backstage roles available: stage manager, lighting operator, dresser, sound operator, stagehand
Students can assist professional designers in scenic, costume, and lighting design
