Audition Process
•Three in-person audition weekends offered
•Check-in 7:30-8:00 AM Saturday; concludes by 3:30 PM
•Virtual auditions accepted in limited capacity
Audition Expectations
•90-minute ballet class followed by 90-minute modern class
•Group interview at conclusion of classes
•No performance videos required prior to audition
Optional Dance Company Video
•Students wishing to be considered for the Samford Dance Company should submit a video demonstrating ballet or modern technique
•If there are other dancers in the video, indicate which dancer you are
Decisions
•Admission decisions sent via email 1-3 weeks after audition
•Scholarship award requires successful university admission first
