Audition Requirements

Monologues

Two Contrasting Monologues

Two age-appropriate, contrasting monologues from contemporary plays

Each approximately one minute in length

Use your natural speaking voice

No foreign dialects or character voices

Additional Materials

Artistic Resume

Required

Resume of artistic endeavors listing art classes, activities, and dates

If self-taught, indicate that

Statement of Purpose

Required

Typed one to two-page essay

Outline background, interests, short and long-term goals

Include information providing insight into education and artistic growth

Reference Letters

Two letters required

One from someone who knows you as a student

One from someone who can speak to your artistic development

Transcripts

May be unofficial for audition purposes

Official transcripts required upon acceptance
