•Bullet: Music Theory and Musicianship I–II, applied music, piano, improvisation, MIDI, Recording Studio Techniques and the Business of Music connect performance with commercial practice.
Performance
•Bullet: Students perform in Jazz, Concert or Symphonic Band, College Choir, Vocal Ensemble or Commercial Music Ensemble and choose additional study in history, theory, commercial arranging, voice, piano, songwriting or recording.
•Bullet: Outcomes include performing on a chosen instrument, understanding contemporary styles, improvising, building a practice routine and participating in a recording session as a performer.
