•Bullet: The Music AA-T requires four sequential Music Theory and Musicianship courses, at least two units of applied music and at least four units of ensemble performance.
•Bullet: Ensemble options include Jazz Band, Concert Band, College Choir, advanced choral groups, Vocal Ensemble and Commercial Music Ensemble.
Transfer Preparation
•Bullet: The 22-unit music major is built into a 60-unit transferable associate degree with Cal-GETC and fulfills the California State University transfer-major framework.
•Bullet: Students develop score analysis, melody, rhythm, harmony and form, performance in an area of specialization, and critical evaluation of their own and others' performances.
