Training
•Bullet: Three-year, full-time, in-person training with at least 35 contact hours per week on average, combining studio-based classes, professional development, and public performances and screenings
•Bullet: Year 1: exploration of acting techniques (based on Stanislavski and related practitioners), voice, movement, screen acting, improvisation, combat, and dance, with an emphasis on process rather than performance
•Bullet: Year 2: deepened technique including screen acting, improvisation and devised theatre, with singing classes that help you build your repertoire
•Bullet: Year 3: stage, film, and audio productions, working extensively with Technical Theatre Arts students to prepare performances for industry professionals and the public
Performance & Productions
•Bullet: Second-year public performances include appearances at RADA and London secondary schools, plus international festivals which have previously included META, the Gdansk International Shakespeare Festival, European Forum Alpbach, and the Utah Shakespeare Festival
•Bullet: RADA commissions professionally written scripts for short films, and audio craft covers microphone technique, voice acting, and audio drama
Professional Development
•Bullet: Seminars and workshops led by agents, casting directors, producers, and actors cover freelancing, self-taping, and auditions
•Bullet: In the third year, the RADA Buddy mentoring scheme connects students with graduates for advice and networking opportunities
