Application Logistics

Submit the Roosevelt University application first; Roosevelt does not charge a university application fee

Then submit the CCPA Music Artistic Application through GetAcceptd

The Artistic Application fee is $50; applicants may contact CCPA Admissions about a fee waiver

Undergraduate music applicants are strongly encouraged to submit an Audition Preview through GetAcceptd

Roosevelt explicitly states that the undergraduate preview is not a prescreen

Do not use audio or video enhancements

Important Notes

The Fall 2027 priority deadline for a guaranteed audition or interview is January 15, 2027

Fall 2027 live auditions are planned for Saturdays in late January and early February; exact appointment dates are not yet published

What's The Process

Audition Process

A live audition is required for admission to this BM program

Complete the Roosevelt application and GetAcceptd Artistic Application before scheduling the audition

The undergraduate Audition Preview is strongly encouraged but is not a prescreen

Audition Expectations

CCPA offers live on-campus auditions

Live virtual auditions may be arranged with the applicant’s CCPA counselor when campus dates do not work

CCPA offers live on-campus auditions on Saturdays in late January and early February 2027

Select live virtual audition times may be available on request

Scheduling instructions are sent after the January 15 priority deadline
