What's The Process

SCHOLARSHIP AUDITION

Audition is for scholarship consideration only — not required for admission to the major
Admission to the BA Theatre Arts program is through the university application

PRISCILLA EXPERIENCE

All-day on-campus audition and interview event
Students audition in their area of interest: performance, musical theatre, or technical/creative

PERFORMANCE TRACK

Two contrasting monologues (2 minutes total maximum)
No props or costumes permitted
Followed by interview

MUSICAL THEATRE TRACK

One monologue plus 16-32 bars of one contrasting song (2 minutes total)
Dancers may add one additional piece up to 1 minute (3 minutes combined maximum)
No props or costumes for speaking portions
Followed by interview

TECHNICAL/CREATIVE TRACK

Includes design, technical direction, stage management, directing, and dramaturgy
Digital portfolio presentation with photos, renderings, reviews, or work narratives (5 minutes maximum)
Followed by interview
