Training
•Bullet: Build a voice or instrumental focus through at least six semesters of individual applied instruction in RWU's BA Music.
•Bullet: At least four semesters concentrate on the primary instrument or voice; the remaining lessons may explore another instrument, voice, or composition.
•Bullet: Pair performance study with courses in Western music history, twentieth-century music, jazz history, aural skills, and digital music.
Performance & Productions
•Bullet: Take part in university ensembles for at least four semesters, with Chorus and Instrumental Ensemble among the catalog options.
Degree Flexibility
•Bullet: Select two Music electives at the 200 level or above and complete a faculty-approved final-year capstone, which may be a recital, composition, thesis, or internship.
Value
•Bullet: Private applied lesson fees are waived for Music majors who remain in good academic standing.
