Training
•Bullet: The Performance track adds 18 credit hours in stage combat, voice and movement training, design principles, scene study, and audition technique on top of the BA Theatre's shared 49-hour theatre core
•Bullet: The full BA Theatre degree runs 66-70 credit hours including 7 hours of production practicum, and Performance-track admission requires an individual acting audition — two contrasting monologues reviewed by Theatre & Music faculty and staff
•Bullet: Voice/movement and audition-technique coursework build toward professional or graduate-level acting work; the parallel Production track substitutes theatre management and design coursework instead
Performance & Productions
•Bullet: Performance majors are cast in productions at RCU's own UnCovered Theatre Company, a professional theatre company the university owns and operates on campus, and can work the Shakespeare Upon Avon summer festival partnership
•Bullet: Faculty frame training around "servant artistry" — treating performance as a vocation of service through the stories students tell
Professional Development
•Bullet: The track concludes with Senior Seminar and Senior Capstone in Theatre, a combined 4-credit-hour capstone
•Bullet: The admission audition also qualifies Performance majors for department scholarships open to any theatre and music participant, regardless of major
