•Students design a 12-credit focus area around goals such as choral pedagogy, conducting, voice pedagogy, Kodaly or music technology
•The 32-33 credit curriculum combines research, pedagogy and immediately applicable teaching practice

•Designed for licensed music educators seeking deeper impact in classrooms and school communities
•May be completed part-time through online classes and summer study or over two academic years
•Qualified Rider undergraduates may enter the BM-M.M.E. pathway and complete both degrees in five years
