Creative Training
•Builds skills across songwriting, arranging, digital composition, recording, synthesis, mixing and publishing
•Grounds studio work in popular-music theory, history and cultural context
Hands-on Experience
•Students create and release work individually and with other musicians
•The degree culminates in a self-directed capstone project or professional internship
Career Preparation
•Recent internship sites include Atlantic Records, VH1 Save the Music, radio stations and recording studios
•Optional experiences include a Los Angeles semester and a Nashville spring-break program
