TWO-MINUTE SOLO PRESENTATION
•Must demonstrate working knowledge of Ballet, Contemporary and/or Jazz

•Technique, performance quality, artistry, coordination, dynamics, musicality, potential

•No application fee for the department -- apply via Common App or Radford's own application portal
•Rolling admissions
PREREQUISITES
•All applicants must have prior dance training
AUDITION REGISTRATION
•Register online for scheduled audition dates
•Individual and remote auditions available by emailing jrobey3@radford.edu
•Email with details sent 2 weeks before audition date
•Notification within 2 weeks of audition
What's The Process
AUDITION FORMAT
•Audition class: Ballet, Contemporary/Modern, Jazz technique
•Two-minute solo presentation
•Observe technique classes
AUDITION DAY SCHEDULE
•Check-in and class observation, 9-10 a.m.
•Campus tour or class observation, 10-11:30 a.m.
•Meet and greet with faculty and students, noon-12:50 p.m.
•Audition class starting with ballet, 1-2:30 p.m.
•Solo auditions, 2:30-4 p.m.
NOTIFICATION
•Results arrive by mail within two weeks of audition

•5-10 dance scholarships awarded annually
•Frano Jelincic Scholarship (strong ballet)
•Scholarships for male dance majors
