Application Logistics

Apply through Common App or Radford's own application portal; there is no university application fee

Freshman applications are reviewed on a rolling basis through July 31 as space allows

Schedule the entry interview during a campus visit by contacting Theatre Chair Robyn Berg (rberg3@radford.edu, 540-831-5012)

Virtual interviews are available

Students who do not interview earlier can complete the entry interview during the first week of fall semester

Audition Process

Required for all prospective Theatre majors (not an elimination audition)

Opportunity to determine starting point for studies and find the right advisor

Meet with theatre faculty members and present examples of your work

Dress as you would for a job interview

Scholarship Info

Freshman Scholarships (3.0+ GPA Required)

First Year Theatre Scholarship — $3,000/year, renewable for 3 additional years as Nancy Necessary Pridemore Scholarship ($12,000 total)

Kathleen Harvey Harshberger Scholarship (Performance Track) — $1,000/year, renewable ($4,000 total)

GeorgAnne Voland Buck Scholarship — $1,400, first year only

College of Visual and Performing Arts Talent Awards — varies with need, renewable
