•Bullet: Brass repertoire may be prepared on trumpet, trombone, tuba/euphonium, or French horn
Repertoire
•Bullet: Generally prepare three contrasting pieces or movements from standard Classical repertoire (a mix of etudes and solos varies by instrument)
•Bullet: Tuba/euphonium repertoire: prepare an etude and two contrasting pieces or movements at a minimum RCM Grade 8 level
Etudes
•Bullet: One or two contrasting etudes (count varies by instrument) demonstrating your highest level of technical achievement
Scales & Technique
•Bullet: Trumpet: A major and A minor (harmonic, melodic, and natural) scales and arpeggios, two octaves
•Bullet: Trombone, French horn, tuba/euphonium: major and natural minor scales to three flats and three sharps, minimum one octave
Accompaniment
•Bullet: All accompanied works should be performed with accompaniment for both live and recorded auditions
•Bullet: A staff accompanist can be arranged through the DAN School
