Training
•Media and Performance Production (MAPP) is a 4-year Honours specialization run jointly by the Dan School of Drama and Music and the Department of Film and Media, pairing a Drama or Music focus with media production
•Courses cover experimental storytelling, intermedial integration of media into live arts, and digital performance combining live or recorded music with video projection, including augmented and virtual reality work
Professional Development
•MAPP students are eligible for the Queen's Undergraduate Internship Program (QUIP), a 12-16 month placement taken after third year
•Students can add the Certificate in Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Creativity (QEIC-ENIN)
Facilities
•Works in the Isabel Bader Centre for the Performing Arts, a $72M Snøhetta-designed complex on the Lake Ontario shore with a 566-seat performance hall, studio theatre, rehearsal hall, and film screening room
Degree Flexibility
•MAPP can complement work in Drama, Music, Film and Media, or Concurrent Education
