Audition Process
•Bullet: Audition on a primary instrument or voice using that area's repertoire requirements
•Bullet: Major scales, sight-reading, and an aural perception assessment
•Bullet: Audition determines full acceptance into the School of Music
•Bullet: Interview with music therapy faculty about interest in and suitability for clinical music therapy
•Bullet: Audition and interview also serve as scholarship consideration
Audition Expectations
•Bullet: In-person audition on a scheduled audition date
•Bullet: Submit the online audition request form, then contact the School of Music at 260-481-6714
Decisions
•Bullet: Students indicating music as their major are placed in "Pre-Music" upon university acceptance
•Bullet: Full acceptance as a music major requires a successful audition
