PSU publishes a dedicated SAMP transfer guide with direct course equivalencies from regional colleges. Transfer applicants submit two creative projects and a statement after completing MUS 247 or its equivalent, or upon transfer. Because the curriculum is sequential and few major courses transfer, PSU recommends early transfer or co-admission and notes that the degree generally cannot be completed in fewer than four years.
