Audition Requirements
PORTFOLIO (submit via Acceptd)
•Sketches, doodles, drawings, paintings, sculpture
•Scenic painting, model building, scale sketches
•Costume construction, garments
•Photography
•Associated paperwork: light plot, ground plan, elevations, etc.
•Photographs of theatrical elements in various stages of completion
•Craft projects or objects you have built
•Photos of productions under stage light
NOTE
•Portfolio samples do not need to pertain directly to theater
•Include anything that shows your potential as a developing artist

•Academic application must be on file BEFORE submitting artistic materials
•Official transcripts and test scores do NOT need to be on file prior to interview

•No artistic review fee for Theatre Production applicants

THREE-STEP PROCESS
•Step 1: Apply for academic admittance at pointpark.edu/apply
•Step 2: Submit artistic portfolio via Acceptd
•Step 3: Schedule and complete interview with theatre production faculty via Acceptd
INTERVIEW FORMAT
•Conversation with faculty about your portfolio—bring your own questions
•In-person, virtual, or phone interviews available
DECISIONS
•Artistic admission decisions and artistic achievement awards on rolling basis
•Notified by email and letter
•Artistic decision NOT issued until academic decision received

Scholarship Info
•Artistic Achievement Award: $5,000–$30,000 per year — awarded to students who demonstrate high caliber of artistic ability through the artistic review process; must maintain 3.0 GPA and full-time COPA status
•Dean's Academic Scholarship: $3,000–$8,000 per year — based on GPA; candidates considered through the artistic interview process; must maintain 3.0 GPA and full-time COPA status
•Visit Scholarship: $1,000 — for freshmen who complete an official campus visit or attend an Admissions Open House
