PROGRAM OVERVIEW
•Unique BFA blending performance training with creative industries skills—designed for the modern performer who creates their own content and builds their own brand
•Students in this program are NOT eligible to audition for PP MainStage productions
•3-year accelerated program with mandatory summers on campus
•First-of-its-kind program drawing on five Point Park schools: Theatre, Dance, Communication, Business, and Education
TRAINING & PRODUCTIONS
•Train at the Pittsburgh Playhouse, Point Park's state-of-the-art performance complex
•18+ productions per year—performance opportunities from your first semester
•Faculty of working industry professionals and nationally recognized guest artists
CAREER OUTCOMES
•Conservatory graduates consistently represented across Broadway, regional theatre, film, television, and emerging digital media platforms

•Point Park's Conservatory of Performing Arts was named to Playbill's top 10 list for Broadway representation in the 2024-25 season with 21+ alumni on Broadway

•Rolling admissions—space is limited, submit early for best scholarship consideration
•Fee waiver available for College Board/NACAC fee waiver recipients, Pell Grant eligible, or financial hardship (apply through Acceptd)
What's The Process
AUDITION FORMAT
•Portfolio submission AND live audition required
•Audition includes: 1 song (32-bar cut), 1 monologue (60-90 sec), and live dance call
•Bring headshot and experience/training resume to audition
•resume should highlight leadership experience—the program values performers who take initiative
ELIGIBILITY
•Must be both academically AND artistically admitted

Scholarship Info
•Artistic Achievement Award: $5,000–$30,000 per year—awarded to students who demonstrate high caliber of artistic ability through the artistic review process; must maintain 3.0 GPA and full-time COPA status
•Dean's Academic Award: $3,000–$8,000 per year—based on GPA; candidates considered through the artistic audition; must maintain 3.0 GPA and full-time COPA status
•Visit Scholarship: $1,000—for freshmen who complete an official campus visit or attend an Admissions Open House
