Questionnaire (Required for Scholarship)
•Submit the Music Scholarship Audition Application and include scholarships, awards, citations, honors, performance experience, and the instrument or voice area being presented
Repertoire List (Required)
•Voice: prepare two or three contrasting selections; opera, oratorio, art song, and standard sacred classics are preferred, while hymns and musical theatre selections are acceptable; memorization is preferred
•Piano: prepare three contrasting pieces — one Baroque work, one Classical sonata movement, and one contrasting nineteenth- or twentieth-century work; memorization is preferred
•Strings: prepare two contrasting classical selections, preferably from different periods and including fast and slow passages; memorization is not required
•Winds: prepare major and chromatic scales plus one or two contrasting selections, including at least one classical solo; etudes or orchestral excerpts may demonstrate additional styles; memorization is not required
•Percussion: prepare scales and technical studies plus one or two contrasting selections, demonstrating breadth across keyboard percussion, snare drum, timpani, and drum set as preparation permits
Resume (Required for Strings, Winds, and Percussion)
•Include repertoire studied and performed, musical experience, private teachers, and other relevant background
Sheet Music (Required for Live Auditions)
•Voice sheet music: bring copies for the staff pianist
•Instrumental sheet music: bring three copies of each score
